Game Description

Alpha Centauri is a 4X turn-based strategy and management game created by Sid Meier, based on a hypothetical human colonization of the planet Chiron, located in Alpha Centauri’s system. Alpha Centauri can be thought of as the continuation of the Civilization game series. In the game, a spaceship was sent to colonize the Alpha Centauri system. However, the spacecraft carrying the settlers is damaged shortly before its arrival, forcing the settlers to divide into seven rival factions characterized by different ideologies and whose objectives and capabilities differ. Each of these factions managed to leave the spaceship and reach Chiron’s surface safely. Each of these civilizations will take a different path.
