Installation Instructions ------------------------- The setup program should run automatically. If it doesn't, then you will need to run the setup program: 1. Click START | RUN 2. In the Open box, type: D:\setup.exe (where D: represents the letter of your CD ROM drive.) and press Enter. 3. Follow the on screen instructions. Two shortcuts will be created on the Start Menu under Programs=>IBM and Crayola => Vehicle Voyages. One will run the program if you already have the CD in the drive (the CD should automatically play when you insert it). The other will remove the coloring book from your hard drive. Running the Program ------------------- Once the setup is complete, it will run the program automatically. After the program is installed, if you insert the CD, it will run the program automatically. If you have the CD in but you are not running the program, then you can run the shortcut located on the Start Menu. Program Issues -------------- With some audio cards, if you have the CD in at the start of Windows 95, then it will autoplay before the audio card is fully initialized. The setup should run fine, but when the program runs, it will crash when it tries to play a sound. Subsequent execution of the program should be stable; however, you may need to reboot your computer after this crash. Video Card Performance ---------------------- Certain video cards from ATI, as well as certain 3D-capable video cards can experience problems running the animations on this application. Please be advised that this is a known issue and that updating your video drivers for these video cards can improve your video performance with these animations. Printers -------- Certain printers can experience problems while printing graphic images from this application. Known issues are with the following printers: Panasonic KX-P4400, HP Laserjet III P. These printers can sometimes print incomplete or no images at all. Demo Shortcuts -------------- The shortcuts to the demo programs on this CD-ROM can experience problems. The shortcut's properties assume your CD-ROM drive to be drive letter D:\. If your system has assigned a different drive letter to your CD-ROM drive, please use the shortcuts in the Start Menu instead of those in the launcher.
