Travel to ports around the world to discover ingredients, build your empire, and follow the continuing saga of the Baumeister family. How To Play

GAME GOAL:

To grow and maintain a successful confections empire.

WORLD MAP:

Mouse over any available port to see the cost and number of weeks it will take to get there, and click to travel.

PORTS OF CALL:

As you move your cursor, available buildings and locations highlight and their names appear.
Click on a highlighted spot to visit and speak with the people there.
Be sure to poke around in each port, you never know what the residents may be up to and what adventures and opportunities await you.

THE MARKET:

Prices at each market fluctuate based on local supply and demand, season, tastes and special conditions.
Click on a product and key a quantity into the cash register.
Ingredient prices include automatic transport back to the factories where they are needed.

CHOCOLATE SHOPS:

Prices are determined by many factors, including local supply and demand, season, tastes and special conditions.
Click on a product and key the quantity you wish to sell.
Click any Sell button to complete the sale.
If you prefer, you may click Sell All to sell your entire inventory of finished products at once.

Shops that you own will always offer your premium pricing for your chocolates.
Players can haggle with Market merchants to attempt to command better prices for their wares.

YOUR FACTORIES:

Each factory can manufacture one confection at a time.
Click Change Recipe to browse your recipes and choose a product to make.
You may have to purchase additional machinery or ingredients in order to make a particular recipe.

Click Make Chocolates! to visit the factory floor, where you make chocolates, and also set ongoing efficiency for that particular factory making that particular recipe.
The factory will continue to make chocolates or coffee at the rate you establish as long as you have the necessary ingredients in your inventory.

MAKING CHOCOLATES:

Match the example tray which shows your chosen recipe.
Aim with your mouse and click to fire ingredients.
The trays move faster as you succeed, and slow down each time you waste ingredients.
Waste eight ingredients, and your round is over.
The factory maintains the weekly production efficiency you set here until you choose a new recipe.

You may make chocolates as often as you like, but remember that each run of the factory takes up a week that you could spend sourcing new ingredients, selling confections, and charting new paths for your business.

MAKING COFFEE:

Match at least 3 of an identical ingredient in a row.
Aim with your mouse and click to fire ingredients.
Waste eight ingredients, and your round is over.
The factory maintains the weekly production efficiency you set here until you choose a new recipe.

You may make coffee as often as you like, but remember that each run of the factory takes up a week that you could spend sourcing new ingredients, selling confections, and charting new paths for your business.

SECRET TEST KITCHEN:

Choose the type of product to invent, chocolate or coffee.
Create your invention by selecting ingredients you have gathered throughout the game.
After selecting your ingredients have the kitchen boss taste it to see if you created a good product.

If your invention passes the taste test then you can design how it looks and name the recipe.
When you are done you have the option to add the recipe in your book which is then available to manufacture.
